Founded in 2018, Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards “Meliora” - is an annual national contest aimed at the development and popularization of corporate responsibility in Georgia, as well as at encouraging the companies to adopt CSR principles in their activities.
The contest comprises ten Categories, covering all main areas of responsible business conduct. Any size companies operating in Georgia are welcome to compete.
The contest is organized by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG), with support from European Union and Conrad Adenauer Foundation. It is held in cooperation with many international and local expert organizations, business platforms and Governmental agencies.
Since 2018, Global Compact Georgia Network has been conducting annual Corporate Responsibility Award Business for SDGs.
The aim of the award is to popularize corporate responsibility in Georgia and promote business involvement in the accomplishment of Sustainable Development Goals. The categories of this contest are based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
First conducted in 2016, CSR Forum was organized by The FINANCIAL Georgia newspaper and has been held since then. At this annual event, the participant companies present their CSR reports to the Media representatives, and companies’ top managers must answer the main questions: how they benefit the society where they operate. The goal of the presentations is to promote social responsibility issues, as well as to raise the Media and general public awareness on corporate social responsibility.
The contest has been held since 2018 and is aimed at the promotion of active and correct coverage of CSR by the Georgian Media, which should help raise the awareness on CSR and assist the public better understand its concept. The contest is organized by Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG).
