The World Bank, in collaboration with the National Reporting and Auditing Reform Support Fund (RSF), is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024 Best Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA) competition.

The Annual Report and Transparency Award (BARTA) supports the Meliora category "Transparency and Reporting on Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Issues," and Meliora, in turn, supports BARTA's "Best Sustainability Report" category.

The organizers of BARTA and Meliora have also committed to collaborating on popularizing sustainable development reporting in Georgia and educating and supporting businesses regarding these issues.

With a five-year history, BARTA has established itself as a significant component of the corporate landscape in Georgia. Winning a BARTA nomination signifies a high level of transparency, leading to enhanced recognition of your organization's credibility within its industry.

The deadline for submitting applications for the BARTA contest is October 31, 2024.

This year, BARTA introduces a special award, "Best Debut Company," which recognizes and rewards a new organization that demonstrates exceptional quality in its inaugural year of participation.

The competition will conclude on December 13, culminating in a high-profile award ceremony where the winning companies across 10 categories will be officially announced.
